What is Print on Demand?

First of all, as the name suggests, print on demand is production per order basis, which means you only pay for the production cost of the products that you order to be produced once you receive an order from your customer. Put simply, you can use our design tool to upload your artwork that you are willing to sell on any product of your liking from our catalog and see a product preview, then market these products on your own channels, for example your e-commerce website or social media pages.

Instead of having to invest upfront capital in large quantities of inventory and start marketing your products to sell. You will market your products and once you receive an order you can place it through Zink and we will fulfill and deliver your order on your behalf on demand.

Getting Started (Check list)

To get started selling printed merchandise on demand products you need to:

1. Decide the theme of your brand. Do you want to target specific customer groups? Pet lovers? Foodies? Or fan art? Selecting a specific design niche will help you pin down your target audience however, you can still choose to broaden your target market.
2. Choose a Brand name 
3. Will your brand specialize in one product only? Or will you have a wide range of products? Having a wide range of products will not be an additional cost because that is one of the print on demand huge benefits! However, it is a matter of strategic brand choice to specialize in one product or to have a wide product line offering.
4. Create a logo for your brand! If you can not do it yourself we recommend going for online logo makers or you can always hire someone to create your logo. (more content on creating logos on Zink) Stay tuned!
5. Create your social media presence or your own ecommerce website
6. After finishing all the previous tasks you can now start creating your first product by signing up for a Free Zink account and then head to our product catalog then start designing your first product.
7. After designing your product, you should see the preview to make sure your product looks right! Then download the product images and start marketing them on your social media channels
